Rationale

Management of knowledge requires the full support of the organization’s leadership and the buy-in of everyone in it. KM also requires effective integration of three critical components:  people, processes, and technology.

Scope

Modules in Unit III contain information and recommendations on organizational and technology support needed for successful KM implementation.

Objectives

After going though the modules in Unit III, you will be able to

  • acquaint yourself with the task of designing and implementing interventions to develop knowledge skills in organization members;
  • know the basics of mobilizing people, processes, and technology for successful KM.
