Born December 6, 1932 in Manila,
Menardo R. Jimenez graduated from the Far Eastern
University as a Bachelor of Science in Commerce
and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Married to Carolina Gozon Jimenez, he is the
father of four children, Menardo Jr., Joel,
Laura and Carmen.
Jimenez is at present Chairman of Cable Entertainment
Corporation and Director of Mabuhay Philippine
Satellite Corporation. He also utilizes his
profession of accountancy being the Chairman
of Majalco Finance and Investment Corporation,
President of Albay-Agro Industrial Development
Corporation, and First Metro Bank Investment
Corporation.
Menardo R. Jimenez apart from being President
and Chief Executive Officer of GMA-7, GMA Network
Inc., also practices his forte as President
of GMA Marketing and Productions Inc.
Away from his life at GMA, Jimenez is trustee
of the Asian Institute of Journalism and Communication,
and also a founding member of the Asian Institute
of Design and Technology. He is a member of
the International Advertising Association Inc.
and Manila Overseas Press Club.
